Used to intrude into the artery percutaneously in intervention surgery and establish a passageway for introducing catheters into the blood vessel.
[Product Structure] The product is composed of introducer sheath, dilator, guide wire, and seldinger needle. The product is made from polyethylene, polypropylene, and stainless steel. [Product Type] 5F, 6F, 7F, 8F [Application Scope] The introducer set and dilator enter into the vas along guidewire to build a passage, which connects skin and vas. After the dilator pulling out, the introducer sheath is the only entrance for the vas operation. The hemostasis valve of introducer set and the silica gel film at the hub is respectively used to stop blood stream and prevent seeping blood. It could avoid hemorrhage. [Instruction for Use]
- 1) Shave the skin, disinfect, spread the cloth and lay gauze aside.
- 2) Puncture with seldinger needle from the top of the skin with angel between 30-45 degrees until bright
- red blood gush from the hub of the seldinger needle to make sure the needle attains needed position.
- 3) Insert the guidewire across the seldinger needle until the position needed.
- 4) Hold guidewire tightly and then remove the seldinger needle.
- 5) Insert dilator into the sheath, then insert guidewire from the end of dilator, hold tightly when the dilator is approaching the skin, and rotate gently while pushing into the vessel.
- 6) Hold sheath tightly and remove guidewire and dilator.
- 7) Translate catheter across the sheath into the vessel at needed position. If necessary, fix the sheath.
- 8) After operating, remove the sheath and process hemostasis.
